Sada is a lovely 3 year old Boerboel Mastiff who is in search of her true forever home. She is of course house trained, crate trained (but trustworthy with free roam) and leash trained and this chunky monkey knows how to sit, stay, come and working on lay down but treats will get you far with her and she's always willing to give it a go! Sada-Lu has been allowed on the furniture but she does not bark, dig or chew like a silly girl.

Mongo is a 3 year old, male Dogue de Bordeaux. This poor guy has been in at least two homes that we know of and is ready for some stability in his life and a true "forever" home. He came to us very thin and scared but is putting weight on nicely and feeling more secure every day as he adjusts to the routine in his foster home. He is house trained, leash trained, knows basic commands, and he is trustworthy with free roam.

Meet our newest little cow, Ollie the 6 month old, Harlequin Great Dane. This sweetie pie was returned to his breeder due to a mild case of megaesophagus and he is now with BDHPI to find his perfect forever home. His condition is fairly easily managed and he doesn't even have to eat upright. Ollie loves to run and wrestle with other dogs and is friendly and outgoing with all he meets.

Kiki the 8 year old black Newfoundland is another lucky pup who after 8 years of being a breeding machine will finally be living the life she's always deserved. Kiki is great with other dogs, as that is primarily all she has known, so it would be best if she had other doggie siblings to follow their lead.

Miss Molly is a lovely lady that has been passed around far too many times in her short 3 years. She has been kept inside and is crate trained already. Molly is good with other dogs, with kids and even with cats, this sweetheart wants everyone to be her friend. She does need a 6 foot fence to keep her safely contained as she's not had much stability in her life.

I am Isa, a beautiful 3-4 year old, female Akbash who has been kept as an outside dog until now. The outdoor life as a livestock guardian doesn't fit me at all because I love being with my people and just want to be in the house.

Howdy from this adorable black boy, Birmingham! He is an 8 year old, black, neutered male Newfie who is so happy not to be in the business of puppies anymore. This boy needed some TLC, which his foster family was happy to provide. Now he's ready to go on to the bestest, forever family. He only eats when he's hungry - wants to keep looking slim and adorable for life. He is good with dogs and kids, and he might even be good with cats.

Meet Gunner the stunning, 3 year old, blue brindle, Cane Corso. He has cropped ears and a traditionally docked tail that only add to his charms. This sweet boy is very eager to please and despite not having much training he is already making good headway on learning his basic commands and how to walk like a good boy on a leash. He is house trained and not destructive. He would do best without smaller dogs or felines to chase and but he is great with larger dogs.

Meet our newest Belle of the ball! This Belle is a 2 year old, fawn, female Great Dane who is gracing us with her presence while we help her search for her forever family. Belle is house trained, crate trained and knows how to walk on a leash like a lady. She is also obedience trained and knows all of her basic commands. On occasion, you might see her trying to take a snack of the counter so just make sure there is nothing tempting left out for this silly girl.

Proud foster Mom here of the amazing Waldo Copper Bear, yes I have found myself saying "Where's Waldo" many times (still makes me laugh). While finding Waldo is easy, his past is a mystery. You see poor Waldo was dropped off at a shelter, and the story he is sharing doesn't seem to be the same as the story his previous owners told the shelter.

My name is Groot, and I am root, root, rooting for a new home while I toot, toot, toot my own horn a little! Check me out: I'm a 1-year-old male harlequin Great Dane, and you can see how handsome a man I am. The reason I'm here at BDHP is because my former owner simply wouldn't afford my medical care, and that's sad, but I know that everything happens for a reason and that I'll be equally as loved in a new home.

Duke is a very handsome, brindle, 3 year old, Dogue de Bordeaux (3/4) and American Bulldog (1/4) mix who is coming to us because his owners schedule changed and he is unable to give Duke enough time or attention. Duke is house trained and crate trained but he is also trustworthy with free roam so the choice is yours! He walks like a good boy on a leash and he knows his basic commands.

Lindy is a 7 year old, Mantle, female Great Dane who was rescued from a hoarder who was breeding them. Lindy and 70 other Danes were thankfully taken from this place and she is now enjoying the life she has always dreamt of! Lindy is a little overweight at 130 lbs but her foster family is working on that. She recently had a thyroid panel that was normal so it's doggy bootcamp for her!

Caesar is a very squishy, wrinkly 14 month old Dogue De Bordeaux who has been passed around at least 3 times in short life that we know of and his past has left him a bit traumatized  Caesar is trustworthy with free roam and he doesn't bark, dig or chew on anything despite his young age. He hasn't been allowed on furniture and is perfectly ok with a dog bed, although we're sure he wouldn't mind some couch cuddles with his new human once he feels he is safe!

Deacon is a 6-7 year old, black Great Dane who has many skills under his belt. This sweet boy is house trained and crate trained but he is also trustworthy with free roam. He will walk like a gentleman on a leash and he knows all of his basic commands. Deacon of course is past the digging and chewing stages and he does not bark unless necessary. He loves to play with toys and he isn't too particular on what they are as long it's for him!
