This is Diesel, a handsome and sweet 2-year-old, Fawn, male Great Dane. This wonderful man has had a very tough start in life that ended with him being signed over to animal control as a cruelty case. He came into Big Dogs Huge Paws emaciated and heartworm positive. However, there is no sign of heart abnormality, so treatment brings a great prognosis. He does great with kids and gets along with other dogs.

Ben is a very handsome, 3 year old, blue brindle Neapolitan mastiff that is already house trained, leash trained and he knows how to sit, stay and come when called. Ben very much enjoys his indoor life and having a snooze on his dog bed or on the couch with you if you let him! Being such a well mannered pup, Ben does not dig holes or chew on anything that he shouldn't but he is big and strong and would do best with a strong leader, true to his breed.

Lucy the 1 year old, Brindle, Cane Corso is one lucky pup! She was saved by one of BDHPI's partnering vets who saw her being advertised for "free" and wanted to make sure she ended up being spayed and placed in an appropriate forever home. Lucy is a doll who loves to play with other dogs, is great with kids, and is learning all about house training, crate training, leash training and basic commands in her foster home.

Goofy is a 3 to 4-year-old, fawn, female Mastiff mix. She is house trained, crate trained and leash trained. She is trustworthy to free roam and knows basic commands. Goofy is a sweet girl who gets along with other dogs, kids and cats. She enjoys car rides and being at your feet. One thing she does not like, though, is thunderstorms and loud noises. However, with understanding and reassurance, this can be easily managed.

I am Mia a 4 year old, Merle Great Dane. BDHP got me from the local Humane Society and what a humane call that was! BDHP'S experience placing huge orphans with great families is unsurpassed  I couldn't be in a better place.

My name is Luka the beautiful (not boasting but this is a fact), 4 year old, Mantle Great Dane.  Although I came to BDHP from the local Humane Society with my sister, Mia, we are both ready to strike out on our own.  My manners are superb - house trained, crate trained, know sit, down, and come. I do well with kids, get along with other dogs after slow introductions and am doing well with my housemates in foster care, but cats or chickens are not my thing!

Betty is a precious, 2 year old, Fawn, English Mastiff who is a survivor! You see, she suffers from Diabetes and needs daily insulin but her owner fell on hard times after losing her job and wasn't able to afford her meds. When she arrived in rescue she was in really bad shape and our vet told us she wouldn't have survived another day without medical intervention. Betty is now back on track and winning us all over with her gentle, loving ways.

Brutus the 2 year old, blue, Great Dane here to report I am ready to find my forever home. My previous owner meant well but unfortunately is no longer able to care for me because he is undergoing long-term care for medical issues. I will miss him but I am excited for my next adventure. I would love a home with other pup pals of any size and I love to run and play!
Please welcome this sweet sweet boy Zeke to the family. Zeke was owner surrendered due to no fault of his own and the minute we saw his squishy mug we had to rescue him! Zeke is a 6 month old, fawn male Bullmastiff who is a bit confused by his situation by he is coming out of his shell daily in his foster home now he's away from the shelter.
Meet Henry! This 1-2 year old, Blue Neapolitan Mastiff is as cute as they come. Sadly, his owners dumped him at a shelter and didn't share his name so he is a bit confused but we have explained to him that his new name symbolizes a new and bright future ahead of him. He came to us with terrible cherry eyes but will be having surgery to correct that and the world will look much different moving forward as well now that he can finally see.

Rocky is coming to us due to some financial issues with his current family and we understand that sometimes life takes unexpected turns and we're here to help. He is an 18 month old, shiny black Great Dane who is a pretty well balanced guy. He is house trained and knows how to sit and wait and he doesn't bark excessively, chew on anything that doesn't belong to him or dig holes like a gopher - which for a puppy is a showing some serious constraint!

Say hello to Louise! This 1 year old, Black, female Great Dane found herself in need of a better home when her first owner couldn't provide her with the training or socialization she needed due to too many animals. She is now happily in a foster home where she is happy to be a valued member of the family and getting some one on one attention.

Do you think this Belle could be the belle of your ball? If so, let me introduce myself! My name is Belle, and I'm a 5-year-old, female Bullmastiff. My former owners moved to the country where there are lots of horses… and I just couldn't help myself. There were so many of them, and I loved to chase and run with them! I did whatever I could to run with the ponies, and my peeps thought there would soon be an accident. So that's why I'm here at BDHP.

Daphne is a sweetheart of a Neapolitan Mastiff. This 4 year old blue female was part of a cruelty seizure that involved 25 dogs, to include Fred and Wilma. Daphne is very underweight but she has a healthy appetite and now she knows that she is safe and will be receiving all the food she needs we know she'll be up to snuff in no time and looking as healthy as she is happy.

Welcome to the good life Wilma!! This tawny, 3 year old Neapolitan Mastiff was part of a seizure cruelty case where she lived with 25 other dogs that were being used for backyard breeding. Thankfully we were contacted to help this girl and her friends, Fred and Daphne, and we are excited to show her all that she has been missing out on. Wilma is a super sweet girl who smiles at all the humans she meets and she is very friendly with people.
