I recently took in a Great Dane to foster. His history is unknown, even age. I think he is about 18 mo. My question is what are you giving your Great Danes in your program to fatten them up. My foster is at least 30-40 lbs underweight. I have been trying to feed him three times a day with the raw meat with kibble (Gentle Giants). He likes it but does not eat much, maybe 2 cups in the morning, a patty around 1 pm and then some, and I mean very little, kibble in the evening. What else can I give him to help him gain some weight? BTW he was just neutered 12/13/11. Thanks for any advice you can provide. I have owned a Great Dane in the past but he was HUGE! 200 lbs and not chubby at all.
