Vera the Newfoundland mix found a wonderful forever home with Maren in Scottsbluff, Nebraska. She joins Little White Kitty the rescued cat and her new mom is thinking about adopting a second gentle giant once she gets Vera settled for her to play with! Maren has Newfoundland experience and prefers to adopt the dogs that no one else wants and while we couldn't explain why sweet Vera had been in rescue for as long as she had, we are confident that it is because she was waiting for her new mom!
