Lucy (a.k.a. Izzy) the Great Dane is now happily in her forever home with Michele & Clay in Colorado Springs, Colorado. She enthusiastically greeted her new Dane brother, Apollo, and gave both her new parents a big Dane lean before jumping in their car and heading home! It was a bittersweet moment for us all to say goodbye to such a special girl who has come so far while in rescue, but we know she is in wonderful hands and will be very loved. Izzy has transformed from a very sick, completely bald and emaciated dog to a happy, healthy, energetic, playful girl with a beautiful, silky black new coat.
