Jax the Great Dane came to us broken, physically and emotionally, after being viciously attacked by another dog and undergoing hip surgery. His foster mom, Sam in Wichita, Kansas, not only nursed him back to health but fell in love and soon realized he wasn't going anywhere! Jax, aka Jac-a-roo, became fast friends with Misha the Newfoundland, Traviesa and Sombra the Chihuahuas, and Jade the bird. He is enrolled to start obedience classes next week and then on to Therapy Training after that! We are thrilled that Jax is staying in the family because he is a wonderful ambassador for our cause and tribute to our mission as a rescue - a true survivor and gentle giant!
