Sugar Bear is a gorgeous, 5 1/2 year old, Tri-color, female St Bernard. She has been a breeding dog and came to us very underweight but she has not only come a long ways physically, but her personality is really starting to shine now! She has a big, blocky head and is a sweet, sweet girl who just wants to be loved. Sugar Bear is house trained, not destructive, and she is learning her basic commands. She loves dogs and would probably do best with canine companionship because she follows their lead. She is doing great with the cats in her foster home also and will sometimes give chase if they run, but never in an aggressive way and only in play. Sugar Bear has not had much exposure to kids and young children would probably be a bit too much activity for her. She is leery of men and would do best in a home with a a woman around, although she will warm up to men with time to learn she can trust. She is a big teddy bear who loves to have her ears and jowls scratched and will learn into you for more and look at you with her sad, pathetic eyes if you stop before she is ready for you to!
