Sadie is a 3 year old, 104 lb, Black, female Great Dane mix. She was originally rescued from an abusive situation and then abandoned at a vet clinic by her second owner so she deserves a "forever" home and we intend to find it! She is blind in her right eye but can see perfectly well out of her left one so it really isn't an issue other than her depth perception is a tiny bit off. Sadie is a bit shy with new people and needs slow intros - she may bark a little at first but does warm up quickly. Once she is comfortable, she will become your best friend and loyal companion and is a leaner and a lover! She rides well in the car and has become quite the traveler, thinking where you go she needs to go too! However, she does feel the need to assume the front passenger position if that seat is vacant. Sadie walks well on the leash and we are working on some basic commands - so far she does well with come and is picking up on sit and lie down quickly. She is house trained, sleeps like an angel through the night, and she gets along well with most dogs and cats after proper introductions. She is very sweet and has the typical Dane lean down and is a true love bug who can't wait to meet her new family!
