Roc is a 1 year old, Black, male Great Dane. This sweet boy was surrendered to a shelter by his owner. They indicated that they simply didn’t have enough time to spend with him. It is believed that Roc had been constantly kept in his crate from 8 weeks to 6 months which resulted in him being unable to stretch his legs and prohibited them from developing properly and stunted his growth. He only weighs 80 lbs currently but does have some growing left to do. Roc has worked hard to overcome his past and can now bear weight on his legs, walk, and even run! This amazing guy has improved substantially thanks to passive range of motion exercises, stretching, and swimming and is now ready to find a new family. Roc is house trained, leash trained, knows some of his basic commands and is an all around sweetheart! He is an inside dog that is trustworthy with free roam and loves to snuggle on the couch for naptime. He’s not a chewer, digger, or barker and is a talker who loves to play with toys and humans and chew on bones. Roc enjoys going on car rides and is good with kids, dogs, and cats. He is a cuddler, likes car rides, and is an outgoing boy who settles in easily. This inspirational pup will make an incredibly loyal addition to any family!
