Rieley - Saint Bernard - SENIOR

Rieley, the 132 lb, 9 year old, tri-colored Saint Bernard has arrived! He was surrendered to a local animal shelter due itching which we suspect is allergy related. We will be figuring out what is causing this for him and get him on his way to recovery and his forever family. Rieley is a typical Saint with an independent nature but he still very much enjoys his time with his family and is a big lover boy. He is a good guard dog and just needs slow introductions to strangers. He is good with other dogs after proper intros and is living with quite a few in foster care, however no small dogs or cats for this guy as they're too much fun to chase. Rieley is house trained and trust worthy with free roam for regular work day hours. He knows how to sit, lay down and shake with his big old paws and he very much enjoys chewing on a bone and laying on his bed. This old man still enjoys going for car rides so he'd be happy to accompany on you errands that involve hanging his big head out the window! Due to his age, Rieley has some osteoarthritis in his joints but that's to be expected and with a soft bed, good nutrition, an anti-inflammatory, and an supplements he gets around pretty well.He would probably prefer a home with limited stairs if possible though. All in all, this big lug is a lazy, wonderful guy looking for his retirement home.
