Moose II - Great Dane Mix - MEDICAL HOLD (new to rescue - under evaluation)

Moose is a 1.5 yr old, Mantle, Great Dane Mix who was surrendered back to the shelter he was adopted from due to a divorce so he has been bounced around quite a bit in his young life due to no fault of his own. He lived with other dogs, Dachshund, Shepherd, Dane an infant and 9yr old child in his previous home and does great with all he meets. He is crate trained and hasn't earned his free roam wings yet as she still has some puppy chewing tendencies but a crate and plenty of chew toys solves that little problem. He is leash trained and while he's had no formal obedience he knows down, sit and shake. He is doggy door trained and has been allowed on the furniture and is a typical Dane couch potato. He is wonderfully tempered dog and quite the love bug and likes getting attention from people of all shapes and sizes and playing with any kind of toy. He does have to have knee surgery due to a torn CCL before he can go to his forever home so that he will be ready to play and go for walks and be a silly puppy. Don't miss out on your chance at this playful pup though and submit your application today!
