Moose - English Mastiff - SENIOR (new to rescue - under evaluation)

Moose is finding himself on the hunt for some new digs. This 7 year brindle English Mastiff has some tiny additions in his home and he just isn't comfortable with young children and as hard as it is his family has decided to do the best for everyone. Moose will need a home with older children who are respectful of his advancing years and space. He is house trained and leash trained but walks best with a gentle leader. He knows how to sit, down, give paw and come and of course he is an indoor boy. Moose is trustworthy with free roam and he is well past his digging and chewing phase which makes him an easy keeper! He will bark when someone comes to door, which makes a wonderful sounding doorbell and a great deterrent. Moose isn't allowed on furniture, he's unsure in the car so he'd prefer to be home more often. He likes jolly balls, squeaky balls, antlers, natural balance treats, carrots and green beans. Like most giants he has some quirks. Moose is pretty fearful and he is scared of narrow walkways, plastic bags, nail trims are 50:50 and his foster family will be working on these with him. He is good with most dogs but needs slow intros and friends with similar play styles as he plays rough. He hasn't been cat tested or small dog tested yet thought. Moose is very loving and sensitive and cannot wait to find his forever home where he can snooze and play for the rest of his days!
