Grim is a very handsome, 2 year old, Black, male Boerboel (South African Mastiff). He was seized from his owners along with his mate and their puppies who were only days old from their owners due to deplorable living conditions. The home was covered in trash and fecal material and the family agreed to surrender them all in hopes that they could clean up their home and get their kids back who were removed by child services. Needless to say, Grim has not received the love, attention, training, and care that he needs and deserves and he is happy for a second chance. He is a very sweet boy with a submissive personality who is very treat motivated! He is mostly house trained now and does fine crated as long as the kennel is reinforced. Grim gets along well with other dogs of all sizes, although he does prefer lower energy dogs and seems to prefer smaller dogs. He is gentle with kids and we'll be testing him with cats. He's a wonderful guy who adores attention and is very eager to please his humans. Grim is an active guy who is quite athletic and loves to play fetch!
