Betsy is an petite, 6 year old, Fawn, female English Mastiff who is about as darling as they come! She has charmed everyone she has met so far and already has a big fan base. She is very submissive and if she thinks she has done anything wrong she will immediately flip onto her back to show you her belly. Betsy adores her humans and seems unphased by the infant in her foster home. She does wonderful with dogs, both big and small. She has not been cat tested but we would be surprised if this sweetheart had a negative reaction. BDHPI saved Betsy from a high kill shelter where she was dumnped after being used as a breeding dog all of her life. She is a very smart girl and is already house trained, can use a dog door, and she is starting to learn her basic commands and adjusting to crate training. She has been found snoozing on the couch already and loves to snuggle in bed if allowed! Betsy would be a wonderful addition to any family, especially those who are new to the breed!
Betsy recently underwent Heartworm Treatment and is ready to go to the right family when they come along.
