Bebe - Great Dane - SPECIAL NEEDS - PERMANENT FOSTER

Bebe is a beautiful, 2.5 year old, Black, female Great Dane. She is epileptic and suffers from seizures but we have them well managed on daily medication.  She is also blind but after only a couple of weeks she learned her foster home so well you can hardly tell she can't see. Bebe is house trained, not destructive, and her crate is her safe place. She will often go in to take a nap when she is feeling overwhelmed or just tired. Her foster family has been teaching her commands such as "open", "step", "touch" and more to help her and she has caught on very quickly. Bebe is truly a gentle giant and she doesn't have a mean bone in her body. She gets along well with other dogs and cats and has a submissive personality. She would do best in a home with no children due to her medical condition. Bebe would also do best in a home with a fenced in yard and someone home more often than not. She will give back the love you show her tenfold and is very loving and affectionate with people. She will bury her head in your lap and lean on you all day long for pets and ear rubs.

Due to the extent of her Special Medical Needs and frequency of seizures, Bebe will remain a Permanent Foster with our program for as long as she has quality of life.
